INTRODUCTION

Working from Manitoba, Canada, early in her career Orlanda gained a mentor, Robert Ginty, the creator of the first Hollywood action movie “The Exterminator”. Making action the base for multiple sub-genres in high concept writing, she incorporates Science Fiction, Fantasy, Supernatural, and thriller. Proficient in the ongoing television story and tight focus in features has gained her numerous competition placements and script rewrites for hire. In co-writing the Crystal Shade trilogy with Istvan Szabo, Ifj., Orlanda’s career has turned a corner which sharpened her skills as an editor and facilitated her natural shift and instinct for adapting to screenplay and yet, keep the story’s heart intact. Her latest adaptation, Father Rock, authored by Terry R Brooks is currently under consideration at Warner Brothers and 20th Century Fox. She is a proud Screenwriting U Alumni and is actively in negations for the next book to screenplay adaptation.
